Course aims to give the learner knowledge on all Optimarin components. The course will give the learner a comprehensive understanding of the components function and its role in the Optimarin ballast system.

Operational course (C3)
Course aims to give the learner knowledge on how to plan, operate and act in various scenarios when using the Optimarin Ballast System (OBS). The course will give the learner a comprehensive walkthrough of normal operational procedures, emergency procedures and contingency measures.

Service and Maintenance course (C4)
Course aims to give the learner knowledge on routines, service and maintenance on the Optimarin Ballast System (OBS). The course will give the learner a walk through of our service and maintenance matrices, troubleshooting, maintenance instructions, spare parts and calibration of sensors.

Available online 24/7 via the OptiLearn portal from anywhere in the world.
With the free e-learning applications for iOS and Android, learners can study when and where they want to, and even save courses to their mobile devices, and study it at their convenience. The results are tracked offline and sent to the OptiLearn portal when the connection is restored.

Course diploma
Once the user has viewed all the training material, and passed the exam, the user will be awarded with a course diploma.
The purpose of such training is to ensure that crew, ship owners/managers with e.g. fleet agreements have a good understanding and overview of both the system, its operating, maintenance and training requirements. This will ensure a good user experience for the operators of the system.
